Yael stone, a native of New York City Australian resident, was the character Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael is a graduate of NIDA. From a young age, Yael has been lucky to have worked with some of the best storytellers in Australia, brilliant stars of theatre and visionaries who work behind the scenes in film as well as theatre and television. Yael is a well-known actor across Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael made New York City her home following her role in the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced the critically-acclaimed production. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. In a Bushwick Brooklyn studio The Cannery encourages new and imaginative writing and promote innovative concepts.
