Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actor, director, producer, playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was an infant. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk gave birth to an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode and broke the news to the fans during a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in a large online audience on social networks.
